Recently Smallforest, a private mint in Oregon, struck two small undated silver coins that pay homage to the original Higley coppers. The coins were overstruck by hand on Franklin Mint medalettes. Some ghosting from the original medalette might be noticeable. WebI work at a grocery store with a coin star machine and recently a girl came to exchange these for Bills. She said the "coins won't go into the machine at all they just keep going to the bottom". Got it all for face value $5.80.
